Alyssa worked in Los Angeles with celebrity and high fashion clients for many years before coming home to Aotearoa. With twenty years in the flower world, her style brings a luxurious edge to every wedding, but thereās no minimum spend and no pressure here – just thoughtful design, great communication, and flowers youāll remember forever.

Avant Garden was founded by Auckland florist Alyssa Bennett after more than two decades working in floristry in both New Zealand and Los Angeles.Ā

How It Works
Our wedding flower process is simple, collaborative and designed to make planning your flowers feel easy.
1. Tell Me About Your Wedding
Start by sharing your wedding plans, your floral ideas and anything that inspires you. If you have a Pinterest board, send it through! We can chat via Google Meet, email, phone or in person, whatever’s best for you.
2. Create Your Floral Plan
Iāll listen to what youāre dreaming of, ask the right questions and use my experience to create a tailored proposal based on your style, venue, flower choices and budget.
3. Bring Your Wedding Flowers To Life
Once your flowers are planned, Iāll take care of the details and create your wedding flowers that feel personal, beautiful and completely yours.
The earlier you get in touch, the better, especially for peak wedding season from October through April. However, if your wedding date is coming up quickly, get in touch anyway and Iāll always do my best to help.
Thereās no minimum spend at Avant Garden, and I genuinely believe every couple deserves beautiful wedding flowers, whether youāre planning something small and intimate or a larger celebration. If youāre working with a set wedding flower budget, there are always ways to create something special at different price points, and Iāll work with you to find an approach that feels right.
